Jim: like the optimism in this one. (It's been fun to check out HHD periodically -- and an inspiration to do some writing of my own. Will hopefully get something up on our blog soon.)

thanks guys. the haiku is a variant of one I wrote for another blog inspired by a friend who had a heart attack about two months ago--I saw him in the Wegmans parking lot carrying a new snow shovel:
New Year's resolve -
the heart attack victim buys
a new snow shovel
I liked that one so much I wanted to have a similar one here.
