thank god someone still has a reason to visit michigan. considering the sad state of our state's economy, we'll take all the visitors we can get. good to hear the trip went well. where'd you hunt here, and where in wisconsin? be well,

the reflection of a mallard

this year it was mostly around Munising and Ontonagon. In Wisconsin primarily Ashland County. I had hoped to hunt a bit more in Michigan again on the way home, but the dog's injury cut the trip short. She's better now, and we actually got a grouse and some woodcock yesterday.

ps. I've got a pup lined up from a litter being bred in the spring in Richmond, MI. I may be making a trip in December or January to see the dam. will let you know how that goes.
